Because of the nature of the rarity of the Pinctada maxima oyster, we have a limited number of pieces utilizing South Sea Pearls, that we can offer every month. Pearl harvests may be affected at any time due to inclement weather in the tropics, such as typhoons or storm surges. This is why our stocks are on a pre-order basis, as South Sea Pearls command special harvesting times and techniques, but most of all, we see to it that our pearl divers’ health and safety are a priority. Thus, the shipping and handling time indicated below is an approximation. Ange Lorraine will always inform the customer as soon as possible, if any changes will be made to shipping and handling times. There is, of course, always the possibility that you receive your merchandise sooner.
